Wire Closet ShelvingWire closet shelving is the new style of racks for the inside of closets. It is very convenient. They have lots of extra storage space, such as shelves for the top, as well as hooks to hang your coats, or purses, or just about anything else on. It usually comes in white. It also has a cheap price tag. Many of the newer homes are switching to this wire closet shelving alternative. The standard wire shelf can be installed with out using any major tools. This is wonderful if you do not happen to be a handy man. They simply snap together, and this way, they can be removed easily for cleaning purposes, as well as if you were going to paint your bedroom closet. Having wire shelves is great because they can be added to, and taken away very easily. This way, you only have the shelf space that you need. A good use for wire closet shelving is if you happen to be renting an apartment, and you need more shelves in the closet. Anything is possible when you have a little creativity in mind. It may be a good idea to lie down a mat of some sort so that things will not fall through the slats. There are two types of shelves to choose from. One type goes up and down. This is called a vertical. These shelves are most popular when they are around a foot wide, and a foot tall. With several stacked on top of the other. This way, you can fit a pair of shoes in each box, or else you can store some books, this is a great place to store sweaters, or even jeans, or just about anything that may fit inside. The other type of wire closet shelving is the horizontal type. This would be the long shelf at the top, as well as where the clothes would hang. The nice thing about it is that it is your closet, you can design it any way you like. They way that wire closet shelving is sold is in long strips, so you will be required to cut it down. This works out great because then it will fit perfectly in anywhere. These shelves may be used in any closet, whether it be a kitchen closet, a baby's bedroom closet, or a bathroom closet. Broom closets are also another place to use wire shelves. |
